POLICIES AND PROCEDURES DEPOSITS
A non-refundable deposit is required for all appointments. This deposit secures your appointment date, time and tattoo design. This value will be deducted from the final cost of your tattoo. Currently all deposits are $100, and can only be paid via Zelle or cash.

RESCHEDULE
Remembering and respecting the appointment date and time is your responsibility.
Please give adequate notice if you need to reschedule for any reason. I’m super understanding and I know that life can be unpredictable. But unfortunately, part of my success and income depends on our mutual respect of time. Please send me an email/DM (@costaaink) at least three days prior to your appointment for your deposit to carry over to our new date.
Any and ALL last minute reschedules will result in the loss of your deposit.

CANCELATION & LATE POLICY
If you are going to be late or cannot make your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact me as soon as possible. I get it, things happen, juts please let me know.
If you are 15 mins late with no notice you will sacrifice both your appointment and deposit. If you have given me a notice but will be over an hour late, we will have to reschedule and a new deposit will be required.

MISSED APPOINTMENT
I reserve the right to retain the deposit of all missed (no call, no show) appointments.
Not showing up to your scheduled appointment will result in the loss of your deposit and a rebooking fee of 50% of your total tattoo cost.
For reschedules, missed appointments and being late — I reserve the right to ask for 50%-100% tattoo cost as a deposit. As well as increase tattoo pricing if the design/session was on sale, or made to fit your budget.

CANCELLATIONS
To cancel your appointment please contact me as soon as possible. You do not get your deposit back, as they are non-refundable.

 All created designs can be resold to new clients if you cancel your appointment. I hold the right to every design I have created, drafted, or simply put together.

SERVICE REFUSAL
I hold the right to refuse service at any moment to any client that seems unfit for undergoing the tattooing process for safety reasons. This includes all clients that are pregnant, under the influence, or minors without right documentation.
A valid I.D is ALWAYS required for proof of age at your tattoo appointment.
I may also refuse service for any other reason I see fit. If service is refused on my part for other reasons not stated above, I will gladly return your deposit.

PAYMENT
All payments must be through cash, or card. Tips can be sent via Zelle if needed.
Please keep in mind that the price I quote is simply an estimate/range of what it’ll likely cost. I can always stick to the budget agreed but it might mean modifications depending on the design, size and final placement chosen.
CASH is always preferred.

GUEST POLICY
I ask that you do not bring any guests. If needed, you may bring one guest for support — you got this ;) ... Please keep in mind that there may not be any space, if that happens, your guest will need to wait in the front waiting area.
The shop I work at can get very busy and unfortunately I won’t be able to guarantee comfort for any guest. Tattoo appointments can last for hours and sometimes days. It can be very boring for those who accompany you.
For safety and liability purposes, please leave small children at home. (14+ only) I DO NOT....
...Use numbing cream. And will deny tattooing you if any numbing cream has been used and I see it is reacting badly with your skin. You will not receive your deposit back and the full price of the tattoo will be charged if I have already started your tattoo before knowing this information. (Numbing cream leads to higher rate of tap-outs, inflammation, touch ups and much more) If you need more information on numbing cream, please fell free to ask.
... Tattoo if you’ve just been to the beach. This is especially true for sunburned skin and larger tattoo pieces.

 ... If you are in a rush! Tattoos take time and I will always work peacefully and will take my time.

TOUCH UPS
All minor touch ups are completely free for the first time. Touch ups must be done before a full year from our first session for it to be free. Any other touch ups start at my minimum of $200.


DAY OF APPOINTMENT
Please keep in mind that tattoos can take a while. Even the smallest tattoos can take a few hours due to any design changes, setting up (I only set up once you arrive), stencil size and drying time, etc... All of these tedious things are a very important part of a perfect tattoo. And they can take longer than expected.
For lager, or highly detailed work, be ready to spend the day with me.
I work very carefully, and will always take my time while tattooing. If you are in a rush and cannot finish the tattoo, you will be charged full price and if another day is rescheduled you will need to pay an hourly rate of $100/h minimum.
Make sure you get a good night's rest before your appointment and make sure you EAT something before as well.
If you are currently drinking any medications that thins the blood, please let me know.
Come prepared, snacks , blankets and all :)
Breaks are available when needed, don’t feel afraid to ask for one. By taking my time working on your tattoo, this also guarantees that any need you have to stay comfortable will be accommodated.
Please note, that if your sessions goes on for very long into the night, we will have to book a second day — free of extra charge. A percentage (60%-80%) of the total tattoo price will be required on the first session.
By booking your appointment and sending me your deposit you agree to all of the above terms, and policies.
